With just a few months left for the Alfa Romeo 4c hits the market in the United States thereby marking a symbolic return to the America with the highest produced car since 1995, it has been confirmed by the Italian manufacturer that more nameplates are yet to cross the pond by 2018. 2018 Alfa Romeo Sedan is something totaly new and we will try to present you this model.
Speaking exclusively to nexcarreviews.com, the head of the Alfa Romeo brand in North America, Reid Bigland, said that Alfa’s compact sedan will go on sale in the United States market in early 2016.
This sedan which has been rumoured to be named Guilia will have four doors and is set to compete against the likes of Mercedes Benz c class and BMW 3 series. Reid however declined to discuss further neither details nor the performance figures but however said the sedan will come featured with impressive specs.
He also gave us a glimpse of the Giulia which will also undoubtedly get a high performance model which will be aimed at both the Mercedes AMG C63 and BMW M3.
The second nameplate that North Americans should expect should be the Alfa’s much anticipated SUV which is set also for the first quarter of 2018 as we are going to analyse it below.

Finally, with Alfa Romeo selling its 4C within the United States boarders which has been as a result of countless years of setbacks and delays, it appears that the Italian brand is enhancing its development gears by incorporating new plans. Additionally, there will be a line-up of engines which will include a 6-cylinder, a 4-cylinder and a diesel engine. The expected SUV is rumoured to come with roughly the same size as the Volvo XC90.
This will undeniably act as the flagship SUV. Both the X3 and the XC90 Alfa SUV’s are reportedly going to ride on the same platform. The architectural construction will allow both the rear as well as the all-wheel drive system to enjoy a sporty 50/50 weight distribution.
