Confirmed by the latest spy photos, the 2018 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 is on its way. It is a more powerful version of the GT350 muscle car which was unveiled in 2015, but this one comes with a turbocharged engine underneath its hood.

The news quickly spread about this car and as there is still no officially confirmed release date, the pictures are enough to convince us otherwise. The test mule has been spotted doing rounds and the spy photos clearly show a revised version of the GT350 model. The rumors are that the new Mustang Shelby GT500 will be limited edition model and that the engine is going to crank up the power to 700 horsepower.

The original sixth-generation of Ford Mustang Shelby car was released back in 2013 and saw the car revamped by adding new design language both on the outside and inside. There was a new platform added which also featured independent rear suspension and the lineup also offered a turbocharged, 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine. It was also the first Mustang to make it to be European market. It later built things up by releasing the GT350 version in 2015.
