The outside of the 2018 Porsche 911 GT2 was kept a secret for a long time. Ever since the spy photos emerged we were able to guess what the production version will look like. But with the latest batch of pictures, we see that the car has not departed too much from its initial look. The model possesses a wider fender compared to the GT3 version Turbo-style air intakes. We also see a completely redesigned rear wing that comes with more aerodynamic features and better stability.
The 2018 Porsche 911 GT2 looks like a next generation Turbo car in many ways, but with tad more aggressiveness to it. Besides the larger air intakes, the front end also has newly made LED headlights while the back has a center-mounted exhaust system with an added fixed rear spoiler.
The inside of the 2018 Porsche 911 GT2 is perhaps still under development. This actually means that they have the basis but are still fitting in additional equipment necessary for the car. We are probably looking at a model which will have the same setup as your base Porsche 911 Turbo and will be upgraded with some sportier elements and GT2 badging. No doubt we will be able to distinguish these two cars apart and it will be done easily once you step into the car. The model still needs some polishing up on the inside and this probably means adding some more technology, but rest assure that the comfort levels and the new materials are going to be addressed and implemented here correctly.
Even with the automakers keeping almost everything about the 2018 Porsche 911 GT2 a secret, there have been some leaks about its powertrain that the public got their hands on. So now we know that they are mostly likely planning to use a turbocharged 3.8 liter six-cylinder engine under the hood which also promises to deliver 560 to 570 horsepower to the rear wheels. Expect an appropriate amount of fuel consumption which will coincide with the output of the car.

As far as the safety geos for the 2018 Porsche 911 GT2 it is the same as the news about the inside tech. The car will features a steady dose of safety equipment necessary for the people inside to feel safe and comfortable, but we are still not informed about the entire package. The car will gain some advanced features and we are expecting them to be updated for the racy version of the 911 model. So perhaps with the standard and regular setup that you have in this type of a car, expect to get some more advanced and specific ones for the 911 GT2 version.
There are probably not a lot of models that will be able to keep up with the 2018 Porsche 911 GT2. In terms of style there may be some cars which can provide the same amount of luxury and comfort, but finding one with the same type of a performance could be hard.
