Just to underpin the seriousness invoked by Toyota towards the stylish design of the 2016 Toyota Prius, the company delayed its release date just to overhaul its original appearance. Than their predecessors, Toyota has increasingly aligned itself in making cars that have better driving dynamics and classier exteriors.
The Japanese Auto maker has yet again proven not to be disappointing with the Toyota Prius model which has received a major boost which will leave both the haters and hard-core fans amazed.
Mr. Akio Toyoda, the company’s CEO may have made such an initiative his own since he has been in office for the same period of time. Conversely, it might have been a change of tradition towards emerging market trends with modern cars aligning themselves towards a sporty appearance.
When we now take a look at the engine of the 2016 Toyota Prius, it is expected to come with a 4-cyl 2L engine a single one just as is the case in other models. The electric motor under the hood is powerful to a large extent but relatively smaller in size.
It comes equipped with a lithium ion battery which is lighter and much better for long range since it has already been tested with other current models. Additionally, our independent mule has informed us that the motors and the rear wheels of the Prius are electronically controlled.
In terms of fuel efficiency expect a 10% better utilization since it will use 55mpg.
2016 Toyota Prius interior
Photos of the 2016 Toyota Prius show an absolutely refurbished interior for the instrument panel. The steering wheel has a three spoke new design and behind it is an array of analogue gauges.
Due to scanty information released to the public by Toyota, it is however revealed that the car will have more cabin space and a comfortable interior. This was long expected and Toyota has not disappointed.
2016 Toyota Prius exterior
The 2016 Toyota Prius has a similar design to the Diamond Architecture of the CH-R due to its 5 door hatchback layout. The wheelarches are insistent while the roofline is sharply coned. For comparison purposes between the plug-in hybrid and the standard Prius hybrid is that the plug-in will retain its staid look while the hybrid will be much sportier.
The hybrid will be lighter thanks to the aluminium made body parts while the plug-in will be even way much lighter since some parts will be made of plastic. The new fuel cell design of the 2016 Mirai hydrogen fuel cell will not in either way influence neither the plug-in nor the hybrid.
Price and release date
A rescheduling of the 2016 Toyota Prius release date was made since it was expected this coming spring. Our independent mules on the ground have reliable information that hints that the Prius will be out in the fourth quarter of 2015 thereby being available to customers early 2016. The price per unit will be in the range of %110,000-$115,000 depending on the choice of the customer.
2021 Rolls-Royce Wraith Release Date, Price and Changes
Staying true to Rolls-Royce tradition, the new 2021 Rolls-Royce Wraith continues to deliver incompatible luxury, and astonishing power and presence in a hulking grand touring package. And unlike before, it is sportier than the Ghost sedan upon which it’s based. Other strengths include an illustrious Rolls-Royce badge, silent and lush cabin, a swift acceleration, and a better handling. The Rolls-Royce Wraith release date should be expected sometime in the second half of 2021.
While Rolls-Royce has a long history of building driver-centric two-door coupes as well, its nameplate has long been associated with ultra-luxury sedans that are expressly designed to be chauffeured at owner’s direct specification. In its portfolio are two driver-centric coupes: the Phantom Wraith and the Coupe.
Relative to the coupe, the Phantom Wraith is more powerful and makes about 624 hp and 590 lbs. ft. of torque thanks to its turbocharged V12 engine. The 2021 Rolls-Royce Phantom Coupe 0-60 mph is rated at just 5.6 seconds, and 4.7 seconds for the Wraith. The Wraith also features such as GPS capability that enables it pull prevailing road conditions data and select the optimal gear.
Being a Rolls-Royce means the new model comes with creature comforts, features and technologies. The cabin is detailed and comes with surfaces covered in eye-catching wood veneers and natural grain leather. The floor mats are ultra-comfy and made of lambswool. Other features include an 18-speaker sound system, ventilated massaging and heated seats.
Very few competitors are available if you’re considering to buy the Wraith. They include the Mercedes-Benz S-Class, and the 2021 Bentley Continental GT.
2021 Rolls-Royce Wraith Release Date & Price
Rumors in industry circles allege the vehicle will probably be offered for sale sometime in the second half of 2021. As for the 2021 Rolls-Royce Wraith price, expect it to start from $304,350.
2021 Rolls-Royce Wraith Exterior Changes & Interior Review
Standard accessories available on the 2021 Rolls-Royce Wraith include an eight-way heated front seats, automatic wipers, twenty-inch wheels, a leather upholstery, automatic headlights and wipers, front and rear wipers, self-adjusting air suspension systems, wood accents, front seat massage functions, upcoming curve detection, driver memory settings, a power telescopic-and-tilt steering wheel, auto-dimming mirrors, keyless entry and ignition, a power closing hinged “coach” doors, and adaptive xenon headlights.
Others include voice controls, a 10.3” center display screen, an automatic four-zone climate control, Bluetooth audio and phone connectivity, a surround-view camera system, an auxiliary audio jack, a CD/DVD player, a navigation system, dual USB port, eighteen-speaker sound system, and satellite and HD radio.

Standalone options include door sills, ventilated front seats, interior customization options, a gold-plated Spirit hood ornament, a polycarbonated figurine, two-tone paint schemes, a leather trunk floor, custom wood veneers, and paint-matched center caps for the wheels.
Interior wise, the new 2021 Rolls-Royce Wraith comes with lots of premium surfaces ranging from buttery-soft leather seating to lambswool floor carpeting. And because of Rolls-Royce links with BMW, much of the navigation and infotainment electronics are user-friendly and generally impressive. Both the Phantom coupe and Wraith come with a high-resolution display and multi-level menus that operate through a uniquely British interpretation system.
The only notable drawback to owing the 2021 Rolls-Royce Wraith seems to be its modest cargo space relative to its competition.
2021 Rolls-Royce Wraith Engine Specs & Fuel Economy
Motivation for the 2021 Rolls-Royce Wraith is offered by a 6.6L turbocharged V12 engine rated at 624 horsepower and 590 pounds-ft. of torque. The rear-wheel drive is standard, as is the eight-speed automatic transmission system.
Zipping from 0-60 mph with Wraith takes a blistering 4.7 seconds.
When we come to the fuel economy, expect the vehicle to return 13/21/15 mpg in the city/highway/combined, at least according to Rolls-Royce.

2016 Toyota Tacoma
The redesigned Toyota Tacoma for 2016 boasts an updated interior, a new V6 engine, and a capable off-road performance. It’s recommended for anyone shopping in the midsize truck segment. Some of its strengths include a peerless resale value, an extensive list of options, an excellent off-road ability, a responsive touchscreen interface, and a refined V6 engine. Its release date should be expected this July.
For more than two decades now, the Toyota Tacoma has continued to be a competitive pickup truck that has provided its buyers an alternative to the often-perceived large and costly full-size regular trucks. If you’ve been a seasoned user of the previous versions of the Tacoma, the 2016 Toyota Tacoma won’t offer any major surprises apart from the usual refreshments.
Traditional users may find the new notable improvements made on the 2016 model to have, to some extent, burnished its appeal. The new model doesn’t come with the dinky steel wheels found on the regular cab 4×2 stripper. You only have to choose between the crew cab and the extended cab body styles.
What hasn’t changed though, is Tacoma’s off-road performance repertoire. It also gets the Crawl Control system that it borrowed from the Land Cruiser and the 4Runner. One interesting add-on that the new vehicle comes with is the GoPro mount that gives users the capability of recording their driving experiences.
Things get even better under the hood. With a revised 4.0L V6 engine that offers 42 more horsepower than the previous model, the new Tacoma promises a memorable driving adventure. The base engine returns as before and carries over its power output unchanged.
In overall, we’d say the new 2016 Toyota Tacoma is well-positioned to retain its throne among other midsize pickup trucks. That said, you should still look around the segment to see what the segment offers in terms of alternatives. Some of them include the 2016 Chevrolet Colorado, the 2016 GMC Canyon, and the 2016 Nissan Frontier.

On the other hand, the V6 returns 19/24/21 mpg with the 4x2s and 17/20/18 mpg for the four-wheel-drive system.
During our own test drive, the V6 with an automatic sprinted to 60 mph from naught in 8.5 seconds.

2016 Nissan Leaf
The currently second generation Nissan Leaf has been given an update. The new 2016 Nissan Leaf is a vehicle that will assume the role of the current vehicle which is announced to be carried over without any particular changes visually. Since 2010 the Leaf vehicle is screaming for an overhaul and as we expect the release of the third generation we will have to make due with the 2016 Nissan Leaf model which in a way manages to satisfy us until the real thing arrives.
As of June 2015, the Nissan Leaf is officially the top selling highway capable electric cars, with over 180,000 units sold worldwide. This vehicle managed to make its run for the title with the models that were released in 2013 and 2014 and without breaking a sweat managed to beat the competition, with the closest ones being the Chevrolet Volt and the Tesla Model S cars.
With the latest update we will receive some changes to the drivetrain which will make the already driving specs of the vehicle better and also something added on the inside as the interior gets a tad remodeled. But the exterior is what bugs us the most as it carries over without any changes from the previous model. We hope that Nissan is hiding its cards for the future generation model and that it manages to play them soon. Read the review to learn about the specs and the update of the new Leaf.
2016 Nissan Leaf exterior
What has been a major disappointment with the new 2016 Nissan Leaf model is tied with its exterior. There are going to be absolutely no changes. The exterior look has been completely copy/pasted from the previous model to the 2016 one. Usually it takes about four years until Nissan decides to give a visual update to their cars and it was the case with all the previous Nissan cars, we are still waiting for the Leaf to receive something new. The only thing that was added were actually a few new color choices. The car now gets the use of Forged Bronze, Coulis Red and Deep Blue Pearl that you can pick from. Everything else is virtually identical.
As they have done such a lazy job with the outside of the car, the inside has a lot more to it. The 2016 Nissan Leaf has had some work done when it comes to convenience inside the car and also with the added technology. What is particularly interesting is the updated entertainment system which all Nissan trims receive. It is much more user friendly and generally better than before. On the entry level Leaf S vehicle you get a five-inch color display with Bluetooth connectivity option and some other treats like hands-free text messaging, audio streaming and a Nissan Connect feature with mobile apps for various social network connections.
The higher trims, the SV and the SL, come with everything that you can find inside the S trim already, but also pack some new features that you can use as well. The higher trims do make a difference in this case as the added features are very appropriately added and used. A seven-inch display that supports multi-touch is added here with also the updated navigation system, voice recognition, SiriusXM satellite radio and various other useful apps as well. The display on the graphic interface is also something new and it updates itself on every 12 miles of movement.
Under the hood are the most significant changes which the vehicle has received. The 2016 Nissan Leaf has an enhanced driving range now which is done by adding a stronger battery pack. The power boost is changed from 24 kWh to 30 kWh and gives the Leaf a total range of 107 miles on a single charge. So the good news is that you will be able to travel 23 miles more with the newest update, the bad news is that you only get it on higher SV and SL trims while the base S one still holds the current characteristics.
With the updated battery pack, the Leaf also gets some more weight under its belt, making it a bit less efficient that way. The base S trim still holds the same EPA rating of 126 city, 101 highway, and 114 combined mpg. The higher trims change to 124 city, 101 highway, and 112 combined mpg. With the changes to the battery being the only thing that was substituted inside the car, the 80-kW AC synchronous engine remains the same and it is still able to produce 107 horsepower and 187 pound-feet of torque as before.
2016 Nissan Leaf Price and release date
For now the price of the base 2016 Nissan Leaf S remains the same as before at $29,010 base MSRP as there were almost no changes to it. The higher SV trim is priced at $34,200 while the SL trim has the highest price tag of $36,790 base MSRP. The newest Nissan Leaf is going to be released at the beginning of 2016, maybe as early as January.
