2021 Ford Mustang Convertible

2021 Ford Mustang Convertible review

The new 2021 model of the favorable Ford Mustang has finally appeared. Actually it has been less than a year when the sixth-generation Mustang appeared on the market and this is a continuation on that model which provides us with many customizable features. The most important thing is that it is a convertible and that it looks back a bit to the traditional and old school Ford Mustang car that has beer previous produced.

The thing with the previous model was that it was too much criticized for modernizing the car too much. A lot of fans were complaining as they were unable to see the real Mustang car underneath. The lack of some traditional styling cues actually made the sixth-gen model highly unpopular and the brand suffered because of it. With the latest update Ford decided to go back to the roots and bring the fans exactly what they wanted. The new car features a lot of elements from the old design Mustang cars and brings us what we have always wanted from a Ford Mustang. They even add some additional packages which embody the styles of the 1960s models.

The base level trim is going to be quite a looker as there are plenty of styling cues that are going to make the nostalgic fans quite happy. As for some additional and luxurious features, they can only be received in the upgraded packages. So if you want a technological upgrade for your Mustang you will have to opt for the Premium package first and other better upgrades are available in the higher trims as well. This is actually a way for Ford to make the fans interested into buying the higher trims more. But those who do not mind the base version will be happy to know that the price has remained identical to the previous version.

But the greatest changes are actually only available for the upgraded packages. The base version has only received the hood vent-integrated turn signals which were a part of the vehicle’s design back for the 1967 model. If you opt of the EcoBoost and GT you will have a car which has the over-the-top racing stripes added which are also seen on the Shelby GT350. You also have the option of using some new colors patters with this addition and have the silver and black ones as the new colors given. But one of the most favorite packages is going to be the Pony Package. It actually comes available for the Mustang EcoBoost Premium trim and adds 19-inch, polished aluminum wheels with a tri-bar pony logo on the front grille and also some side strips with chrome window surrounds.

If you want a stealthier look, than you can opt for the Black Accent Package, which comes available for the GT trims only. This is particularly useful for the convertible models as it enhances the beauty of the car with 19-inch, black-painted alloy wheels, a 5.0 and pony logos in black and a black decklid spoiler with a smoked taillight trim. But there are also the California Special Package and the Performance Package for the GT Convertible. The former one adds 19-inch, ebony-painted, machined aluminum wheels, with smoked taillight accents, a performance front splitter, and a special grille with tri-bar pony logo, while the later one comes with more aggressive front splitter and deletes the rear spoiler.
