The bold-looking Blue Oval’s biggest pickup truck was unveiled during the Texas State Fair recently the vehicle comes with significant changes and redesigns that will undoubtedly shape its future segment in the highly contested pickup truck segment. The front fascia now comes with a massive grille, sheet angular metal, and vertical headlights. With each getting a nameplate-specific front fascia, the lineup now includes the F-350, F-250 and the F-450 models. It is expected to be released In February 2021.

Notably, the models come with a significant weight reduction thanks to the extensive use of aluminum alloy of military grade. The switch to aluminum from steel is expected to boost Ford in terms of economies of scale which, according to economics 101, should lower the cost of production and may trickle down to its ultimate production price.

Interior wise, buyers should expect more of a radical design. While the vehicle as initially conceived to be a work truck, it has evolved to become tech-focused similar to Ford’s SUVs, crossovers, and passenger cars. Some of the new technologies regardless of the trim level include inflatable seat belts, a lane-departure warning system, an all-surround surround view camera, cruise adaptive control, and front active steering.

What is known as of this writing though, is the 2021 Ford Super Duty will be offered with gasoline and diesel engine behemoths. Although speculative, we should expect its release date in February 2021. As for its price, pundits put the figure at around $34,580.
