Nissan has finally pulled the covers off its newly designed 2021 Nissan Armada truck. This is model marks the second-generation vehicle of the full-size SUV which Nissan has prepared for unveiling at the Chicago Auto Show. The model was first introduced in 2004 and was initially based on the Titan model, but this new version will swap the Titan concept and adopt an approach from the Nissan Patrol and offer something completely new for the buyers.
The US market will not take too long to get used to the new Armada shape. First of all, there are other models that have inherited the Patrol shape already sold in America, and these include the Infiniti QX80. As the Armada is going to share a similar design we see the American audience taking a liking to this car much faster than without a previous taste.
Honestly speaking, the 2021 Nissan Armada is a giant step forward for the brand. It really embodies everything that a full-size SUV should be. It has the comfort and the power to back everything up and we see it being Nissan’s flagship model for the years to come.
The release date is nearing soon so we took some time in order to provide a review for you.
When is the Release Date for the 2021 Nissan Armada Going to be?
There are a lot of rumors currently being told about the latest 2021 Nissan Armada, but unfortunately not a lot of confirmations. We do know that the model will make its initial appearance in Asia, namely Japan, and this is supposed to happen by the end of this year. We predict that the new 2021 Armada will cross to the North American market in mid-2021.
What is the Price Listing?
The price listing for the 2021 Nissan Armada has already been made available. This only shows that the exact release date will be provided soon. 2021 Nissan Armada Exterior Redesign
The exterior appearance of the new 2021 Nissan Armada is so close to the Patrol model that they even share the same grille. It also has a similar upright windshield, integrated side steps, a kinked D-pillar, and the same kind of fender vents. But the styling for the US version will get its own grille design and bumper, with LED projector-beam headlights and 18- and 20-inch wheels. The rear tailgate is also redesigned and the back part also features LED taillights.
There are going to be a total of seven exterior colors to choose from, so you can opt for Hermosa Blue, Forged Copper, Mocha Almond, Gun Metallic, Super Black, Brilliant Silver and premium, three-coat Pearl White. Other exterior enhancements include rain-sensing windshield wipers, an optional power liftgate, a standard two-inch receiver hitch and there is also an exclusively added 360-degree Around View Monitor.
Interior Appearance of the 2021 Nissan Armada
The inside of the 2021 Nissan Armada can only be described as massive. The inside offers a lot of space with a lot of legroom and offering a limo-like second and third rows. The Nissan zero gravity seats provide the highest level of comfort and come with power-operation upfront and manually reclining seatbacks for the second row. The Armada is now capable of seating up to eight people and it even offers captains chairs for the second row and also comes with a new center console.
All trim levels of the new Armada will have a 13-speaker Bose sound system. Also standard is the SiriusXM satellite radio which is offered with Nissan’s Navigation system with NavTraffic Real-Time Traffic Information. The interior is also offered in three different trims, you can choose three different colors and you have Charcoal and Almond for cloth and leather and a Tan is given only for leather.
The engine that the 2021 Nissan Armada uses is similar to the one seen in the QX80. The model uses a 5.6-liter V-8 engine which will make its first appearance inside a Nissan model for the US market. With this engine, we have an output of 390 horsepower at 5,200 rpm and 401 pound-feet of torque at 4,000 rpm. The new model will also come with a seven-speed automatic transmission with Adaptive Shift Control and Downshift Rev Matching.

Dimensions of the Car
Oddly enough, the dimensions of the 2021 Nissan Armada carry over unchanged. The model has already reshaped so much but the dimensions figures are going to be very similar. The car will be 208.9 inches long and a wheelbase of 121.1 inches, the height is 75.8 inches and the width is 79.9 inches.

Buyers will be able to get the new 2021 Nissan Armada with tons of both active and passive safety features. The active ones include Predictive Forward Collision Warning, Intelligent Cruise Control, Distance Control Assist, Forward Emergency Braking, Lane Departure Prevention and Warning, Blind Sport Warning, and Blind Spot Intervention. The passive system is Nissan’s Advanced Air Bag System with dual-stage front airbags with seatbelt sensors and front passenger occupant classification, roof-mounted curtain airbags with rollover sensors, side-impact airbags, and front-seat Active Head Restraints.
The newly redesigned 2021 Nissan Armada will arrive at the American market but will receive some resistance at first. Although the car is fairly new, we see it as being quite capable of measuring against some of the biggest names in the segment. These include the Chevrolet Tahoe and the Ford Expedition model which are the most popular ones currently here.
